Marketing ideas
2 things:
- Could one target their magazines better and thus cut costs and spin it as green if one were to get the list of people with broadband connections and factor that into demographic equations etc? get it?
- Could a company advertise that they are purposely not pursuing tactics that encourage impulse buying so as to promote fiscal responsibility in trying times? cool beans?
Thoughts on ET
AMAZING! I have to pat myself on the back for these!
- Based on an anthropological extrapolation of the human technology and development curves I imagine that the earth will eventually put out so much energy as to resemble a small sun. If we were to look to the center of the universe in the right time frame we could not only time our progress towards such an end but also locate extremely developed life forms. Get it? Cool huh?
- Another is that, in regards to ET visiting us, it is clear that a civilization as advanced as that which might be found in bullet 1 of this post would have no use for studying us – it is also clear that a much closer life form with sufficient technology may send out probes far in advance to newer planets that have a high likelihood of developing life in the future so as to study it when the time comes that it does produce life.
This shit right here really could represent a revolution in the search and understanding of ET (if there is any but odds say there is)! WOOT!
Page Break
I just had an idea to rival any idea regarding ET and so consider my thoughts of discontinuing the blog more a page break or sea change in what will be written here.
I think I will try to make it much more about short and meaningful ideas rather than rants that (while an example of thought process) generally turn people off and/or bore them.

ADD and ADHD drugs cont.
I have tried a few drugs
- weed
- tobacco
- alchohol
- acid (once, that shit was CRAZY!!)
- mushrooms (once, just plain trippy but didn’t seem anything special)
- Zanex
- Klonopin (same as Zanex)
- ritalin
- focusin
and that’s about the extent of it – I haven’t abused any drug besides those on this list and none in excessive amounts because I’m not an idiot but I also want to die knowing I lived…
ANYWAY
The whole point of this post is to comment on a song called “false media” by the roots – i rather like this song – it opens with an old man saying that old men (with what they know) should not morally entice the young to revolution… what do they know? What if this would upset the youth so much they would want to but they don’t know because they are young? HOW UNFAIR! – but stick with me… because i know… you will see it too i promise
ANYWAY
another part of this song talks about the addictive qualities of pills such as ridalin and i can say POSITIVELY that of all of the things i have tried and even those drugs i have used frequently over short contiguous periods of time (weed, alcohol) that the few times i ever took ridalin – i have never felt myself with a higher propensity for addiction.
this might just be me but if it was then i would be prone to things like tobacco and coffee which i am not and i do not have an addictive personality
something isn’t right with this – do you see it?
ADD ADHD
from my small amount of experience with a couple different drugs for people with these conditions (condition is not necessarily a bad thing) -
these pills seem to speed things up for a normal bloke like me which makes me feel even more ADD
so does this really help the child with his/her ADD or does it simply speed them up so much that they can perform better by the measures (like tests)
as in they can do it all at once – they are even more ADD than before but they work so fast they perform better or normally on tests.
